XML User Interface Language (XUL)
XML User Interface Language (XUL, pronuncia-se "zul") � uma linuagem de marca��o para descrever interfaces de usu�rio. XUL lhe permite construir aplica��es multi-plataforma que podem executar conectadas ou desconectadas � Internet. XUL � uma linguagem de marca��o centrada em componentes de aplica��o (como janelas, r�tulos e bot�es) ao inv�s de p�ginas e hipertexto, ela � baseada em padr�es existentes (XML, CSS, DOM, JavaScript/ECMAScript) e oferece portabilidade de plataforma com uma abstra��o de componentes de interface de usu�rio, separa��o entre apresenta��o e l�gica de aplica��o, e f�cil personaliza��o e localiza��o.
XUL was created by the Mozilla Project; the user interface for all Mozilla's core applications (Browser, Messenger, Address Book, etc.) is written in XUL with one single code base supporting all Mozilla platforms.
